An arborist report is the written evidence behind a permit, a dispute, an insurance claim or a court matter. We set out observations, method and reasoning so another arborist — or a cross-examiner — can follow how the conclusion was reached.
Opinion without method does not survive peer review. Councils reject thin reports; insurers and courts test them. We write reports that say the same thing regardless of who commissioned them, because impartial evidence is the only kind that holds up.
