An aerial inspection is a climbing inspection of defects you cannot see from the ground — cavity openings, included bark high in the crown, dead tops, decay in unions. We get into the canopy, assess structure at close range, and document what a ground-based view misses.
Ground inspection is often not enough. A tree that looks sound from the driveway can have a hollow stem or a failing union above. Missing that defect leads to the wrong risk score, the wrong permit outcome, or a failure no one saw coming.
